I would definitely rate this a 4.5 Ambience over the food... but that's not a bad thing! The ambience and atmosphere were perfect absolutely loved the decor and the vibe of the place 10/10 The food was solid I had the Steak Frites and pulled pork sandwich The fries were great 9/10 a thinner fry but tasted amazing The pulled pork sandwich was definitely the star I would give that a 8/10 I wish the sauce was a bit sweeter but the bun and the tenderness of the pork were perfect The steak frites..... hmmmm I order it medium rare and thought it was slightlyyyy undercooked but they did not have the chimichurri and they didn't mention they were out until asking about it the meat quality was good, but the steak was bland 7/10

Visited The Ordinaire when they were hosting the Miracle Christmas Pop-Up, and the experience definitely exceeded expectations! Our drinks and food were brought out pretty quick, and out waitresses were really sweet and diligent. Granted - we were only allowed 2 hours of seating time for the Christmas event, but no one really rushed us and were pretty chill/ The tables are rather close together, but me and my friend didn't mind because we just chatted with the people that sat next to us and asked them to take photos for us - so we were fine with the space! The drinks and food were great! I would say a bit pricy - but that's probably because of the Christmas themed items. Hoping to go back here again to check out their regular menu and drinks.

waited In line for the Xmas event and even though a few of the drinks we wanted weren't able to be served we had an amazing time. our waitress, Kamile, or something rather. Covered in glitter, lol made the night amazing. such Charm and flare. so sweet and kind. my family and I will 100% be coming back due to the level of service she provided. and Hopefully we run into her again.

We went the a few days after Christmas on a Friday at 5pm. We got a table. No wait. (We have come 2-3 times prior Christmas' later ok the weekends and only got bar seating with a wait. We got the duck dinner and chicken sandwich. Pros - extremely decorated for Christmas. Good vibe. - we've only had duck once in New Orleans and it was great so it had tough competition. Not as good but still good. Tastes a bit like chicken. Nothing special here. - the chicken sandwich was definitely one of the better ones I've had. Cons - none

Just got home from the Miracle pop up at The Ordinarie and it's was super over the top kitschy Christmas vibe and we all loved it. Imagine Christmas vomited in a bar and you have Miracle! Drinks were pretty good and the food was great as well! I could eat a pound of those fries alone! Perfection! I had the fried chicken sandwich and made it spicy and I love how it was a spicy dry rub and not a messy sauce. My friends tried the popovers, pot pie bites, burger, Mac and cheese, French dip. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and we all had a great time! We had reservations so getting seated was not a problem. They have a 2 hour time limit which was more than enough time for food and several rounds of drinks. Several parking structures nearby and street parking available as well. Super fun and highly recommend At least once!

THE MIRACLE ON PROMENADE STREET! So this review is on the INCREDIBLE christmas pop up that was hosted here. However I have heard great things about the ordinarie (regular season) so we'll definitely try it out. But...this pop up was incredible! Every christmas lovers DISNEY (sorry disney ppl). It is loud and vibrant and oh sooo cheery!!! People are great...the food was delicious and experience was amazing. I do know you're supposed to make a reservation for the early time..so don't miss that! I slept on that and i regretted it. However getting in, in the early part of the day is alot easier than the evening. (I heard) The fact that you have 2 hours makes it better for everyone to experience christmas magic. Now...if you're not an overly christmas person... you might be overwhelmed lol but maybe you need a little tinsel in your life Thanks all! Especially Kaya! She did amazing and was so wonderful with us.

This place is happening. The venue is fully decorated with Christmas theme. It's pretty crowded, loud and into the holidays. I was here with a friend just to try their drinks. Not disappointed with my choice of drink. It was very good. The bartender was helpful with the selection and explain it very well.

Came in for the Miracle pop up event at the restaurant. A more limited menu and a big drink special menu. The place is decorated to the hilt with holiday decor. Holiday themed drinks I had the Koala Lalala it was very tasty not too sweet. Ordered the duck dinner and a fried chicken sandwich to share at the table. Plenty of food for three light eaters. They split the sandwich for us and doubled the fries. The duck was delicious and the mashed potatoes with cranberries and brussel sprouts was great. Fried chicken sandwich with pickles and cabbage also delicious! Topped it off with a Ginger Bread cookie sundae and it was epic. A large cookie in a cast iron pan with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Went well with Ambitious Ales perky Blonde beer. The service was great albeit took a while to get drinks but the food and drinks once ordered came fast. Friendly wait staff!
